Manager of Client Development
The Conjugate Group (TCG) is seeking a talented and driven Manager of Client Development. We are growing quickly as an organization, and we are building our internal team both to expand our client base and to fulfil the needs of our existing clientele. The MCD is responsible for sourcing and developing Conjugate Group clients and consultants. In doing so, the MCD will promote TCG’s mission and values in all areas of his/her job to expand its brand in the life sciences marketplace. The MCD will assist in the development of new business opportunities through one’s efforts in a highly agile environment. The MCD will act as a trusted consultant partner, give strategic direction, and act as point of review and escalation. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly developing consulting firm on the ground-floor, and it comes with extensive growth opportunity and a highly competitive commission plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Source, engage and qualify account targets- small to mid-biopharma
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key leaders in the industry
- Build TCG’s client network
- Develop champions that will refer business to TCG
- Ensure quality for projects of assigned consultants/contractor
- Ensure quality of deliverables for projects of assigned consultants
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years+ of business development in life sciences
- Proven track record in sales and/or recruiting
- Engaging personality and strong “soft skills”
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS, BA, etc.)
