Compliance with Non-U.S. Privacy Requirements
Conjugate Group is aware of the 2016 General Data Protection Rules enacted by the European Union (“EU”) and separately implemented in United Kingdom (“UK”) countries that seek to impose regulatory obligations on all holders and processors of identifying “personal data” of residents of EU/UK member states (collectively referred to here as (“GDPR”)), including, but not limited to, obtaining and maintaining individualized informed consent for all uses of an individual’s personal data (defined broadly to include any information that could be used to identify the individual) and, upon request, erasing or electronically transporting to a third party such personal data.
